Having been a 15-year-old mother herself, Alma understood the challenges young moms face, and would have loved the opportunity to help young women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy with their many questions and burdens. While deep in the battle with stage 4 colorectal cancer, Alma’s daughter Jeanette asked her to think of what she might want to do if she was able to regain her strength. Alma didn’t need to think about it because she already had been, and the answer was clear – she would volunteer at LivingHelp Center. Alma didn’t get the chance to volunteer, but her daughter Jeanette would like you to consider donating to this wonderful organization and help at-risk moms with the amazing support that Alma wished she had when she welcomed little Jeanette into the world. <3
